Who Cares?
"Most people in the United States say they support equal funding for public schools, but affluent and powerful people often oppose efforts to correct funding inequities" (Biddle).
Everyone should care about the inner city schools being underfunded, but not everyone does. It needs to be made apparent that even if this issue does not pertain directly to you or your kids, it is still important. Students all around the country are being deprived of the resources they need in order to thrive, and it is not fair. We need to stop being selfish as a whole, and contribute what we have to the people in need. This is an important issue and needs more supporters, activists, and contributors.
Even though this video is geared towards Canadians, we can still take something out of it as Americans. This woman makes a crucial point within the first thirty seconds of the video--all people should care about all students' educations.

This video confirms that there are organizations out there who care about the students being affected by underprivileged schools, and they make a point that everyone should care.
